The Editorial Unit of UNIMAS Publisher is deemed as core business player in the organisation as we are responsible in the acquisitions of manuscripts in certain key areas. We focus on manuscripts that have been accepted for publication and making sure they go through rigorous editorial procedures that include meticulous stages of reviewing, design and layout, editing and proof reading to finalizing the book for the printer. To ensure that the transformation produces refined, quality academic publications, we try our very best to honour the publication time frame allocated to each manuscript hence establishing a good rapport with authors has always been our top priority.

• Please download the Manuscript Submission Form UPP01 and complete the form. Kindly return the form to us together with two sets of your manuscript in hard copy and a soft copy on a CD. Acknowledgement of manuscript receipt will be given to author and manuscript will be distributed to the Academic Publication Committee (APC) within a week of receiving the manuscript. APC will assess the suitability of turning the manuscript into a book within two (2) weeks to two (2) months of receiving the manuscript depending on the category.
• Assessment result will be forwarded to the UNIMAS Publisher and the manuscript will be returned to author if there is any amendment/suggestion.
• Author will make the necessary amendment or address the suggestions and resubmit the manuscript to the UNIMAS Publisher.
• Approved manuscript will be submitted to an internal/external reviewer. The assessment period will be 4-6 weeks. Manuscript will be returned to author if there is any suggestion/comment from the assessor.
• Manuscript approved for printing will be edited by an internal or external editor. A period of 4-8 weeks is given for the editing period.
• The author will make the soft copy correction after the editing is completed. A period of 1-2 weeks is given for this. /listing}
• The manuscript will be sent for typesetting once editing is complete. (1-2 weeks). Proofread will be conducted. A period of 1-2 weeks is provided for this.
• Once the proofread process is completed, UNIMAS Publisher will apply for the ISBN/Bar Code and PDP within a week, and the manuscript is ready for printing.
